Brilliance.

Hey blogee's!

It's almost the middle of the week, and i'm excited. Feeling superkeen this week for some reason!

Very happy at the moment! Had the most amazing weekend! Well, it was cold which wasn't amazing but apart from that!

Started the weekend with my show on Canalside's the Thread 102.8fm on Friday! School's out is back again this week so tune in for the chance to win a £10 iTunes voucher! The Crimbo show is starting next week! Which means....it's nearly CHRISTMAS!!! OMG!!!

Insane.

Saturday was just brilliant.
Getting up early isn't my thing, but when you're going to Nottingham, to write a match report for the Senior Journalist at the club, it's a good reason to wake up early!

Travelling to Nottingham is one of my favourite journeys, it's a long enough journey not to be tiring or make you feel car sick, but it's route is so nice over the hills (from my house anyway) and it's just fun to cruise along!

After arriving at about 12pm I got escorted up to the not so swanky offices as every at Forest kept telling me, to meet the Journalists there-if you didn't already know I want to study Journalism at Uni, so this was work experience to me. Best work experience ever, just having a chat for an hour and a half with the Journalists! Ha! No, really though it was brilliant. They're both absolutely lovely people, giving me tips for Uni and life. Yeah, it got deep.

Nick, the 'Senior Journalist' told me to answer the question 'Who is your favourite Journalist?' at one of my Uni interviews as him..I haven't decided whether to do this or not yet.

Him and his 'assistant' Ash were so lovely, it was so nice to meet so many of the nice people that work there! It was brilliant! I then got to watch the match against League Leaders Burnley, although that wasn't so brilliant it was alright when I got to go in the Press Conference after! It was the weirdest, greatest, coolest, quickest experience of my life! It was literally so fast! But it was so so good! I felt like a professional!

Brilliant

Then on Sunday, my job for the day was to write up the match report to be sent in by Monday morning. Wow. No pressure. To be honest, I think I did an alright job! Sent it off nice and early on Sunday & hopefully they think I did an okay job too!

It was such a lovely weekend though, then I got to meet all of the players too!:O amazing. Dream come true.

Sadly Chris Cohen is out for the rest of the season due to injury, which is not good for us! But i'm sure if we keep pushing, we'll be up there till the end!

'School's out!' is back this week! Don't forget to tune into 102.8fm's CanalsideTheThread from 4pm! You could win a £10 iTunes voucher, and it's the last week until I start the Christmas Giveaway which is going to be, well. Brilliant!

Thanks for reading,

April xxxx
